John C. Swallow, Ph.D., LSP
Director of Environmental Sciences
John Swallow is a soil scientist and horticulturalist with expertise in soil chemistry, analysis of environmental conditions for plant growth, and site rehabilitation. His horticultural projects range from initial site investigations to detailed design of soil-water-horticultural systems, construction specifications and construction observation. He also directs P&S’s soil, air and water analytical laboratories and has developed unique sampling and analytical methods. He has been a presenter at ASLA National Conferences and serves on the Technical Core Committee of the Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES).
Robert N. Pine, FASLA, PE
Director of Environmental Planning and Engineering
Bob Pine has a background in landscape architecture and engineering. He is a recognized expert in soil and drainage design and in environmental engineering. He has had design responsibility for more than 200 site development projects throughout New England and has provided landscape science consulting for major landscape development projects throughout the world. Bob has a long record of service with non-profit conservation organizations and has received numerous conservation and environmental awards.
